In the land of the last things

Anna Bloom, the beautiful spoiled young girl, writes in her diary about the years she spent in an unknown city, in her exhausting search for her brother William, the journalist who disappeared while on his mission. What happened in "the land of the last things" remains completely unknown, but the result is devastating: total destruction of everything related to humanity. Some rush toward their goal, others throw themselves from the top of what remains of skyscrapers, while others head toward merciful death clinics. Amid this massive destruction, Anna continues her frightening flood, joins the group of garbage collectors, and is surprised by her heart's love, stronger than fire. This narration, despite its abstract nature, contains facts about our history and our moral role in dealing with the violent world we have created.
