Because the crisis of research into detailed, precise, and complex issues related to the Islamic movement and its various currents remains a methodological scientific obstacle that prevents achieving a picture closer to the reality of the Islamic situation. Also, the core members of the Islamic movement still feel embarrassment and anxiety about approaching the thresholds of the important methodological scientific stage represented in "criticism," as the most important steps to improve the path, mature the movement, and enrich the space of thought are reviewing, evaluating, and assessing past precedents to ensure the success of subsequent steps. And because self-criticism "constructive" is the strongest foundation of the ideological/knowledge and movement-building of the Islamic movement, and because repeating the shame associated with activating and refining it is the most dangerous indicator of the Islamic movement's setback in the post-Arab Spring era, which is already a setback! This study from Namaa Center attempts, through the author, to delve into the details of the self-critical practice of militant/jihadi currents, as they are a main active factor in the equation of intellectual, political, and social mobility in the Arab and Islamic world today. And because the treatment of Islamic currents in general, and jihadi ones in particular, has mostly been characterized by a high degree of simplification and reduction, as well as an uninformed curiosity based on unqualified foundations to dissect the details of complex and intricate phenomena like those we are presenting; the author has sought to clarify and analyze a segment of the details of the self-critical phenomenon within a main component of the Islamic movement, which is the jihadi current.
