Due to the complexity, diversity, and connection of the subject of diplomacy with other related topics such as international law in its general and private aspects, international politics, and foreign policy, it is necessary to emphasize the distinctive qualities of diplomacy with its concepts, rulings, and practices, as a science that stands independently from other sciences. However, at the same time, it is related to them in a dialectical relationship as part of a whole. Developed countries have given more attention to the subject of diplomacy as a science, establishing many institutes and scientific centers. Diplomacy has become one of the scientific topics studied in most universities, especially in faculties of political science, law, and media.
