Product description

From the edge of the solar system to other strange worlds, these selections take us on an enchanting journey inside worlds of fantasy and science fiction. Between amazement and contemplation, and between the familiar and the imagined, the stories extend to test the boundaries of reality and stimulate our imagination to explore, becoming a means to understand the world and express its fragility. Some stories in this collection are by some of the most important and famous authors in these two fields in history, such as George R. R. Martin, Ursula K. Le Guin, Arthur C. Clarke, and J. R. R. Tolkien, and some are by writers who did not enjoy the same level of fame but I was pleased to discover them and saw it fit to share with the Arab reader glimpses of what they wrote. As is my custom in such story collections, the greatest common factor among them is that they are chosen by the translator and reflect his preferences, and I hope the reader finds what pleases him in them.
