Product description

Ingredients: pink pepper, citrus, Damascus rose, patchouli. 100 ml Chanel Paris perfume - Paris is a perfume of light pink patchouli, "full of freshness and lightness," just as promised. To be honest, I am tired of rose patchouli scents. There are many, tend to be heavy, predictable, concentrated, and thick. As if two high-quality ingredients are not enough. The perfume Portrait of a Lady immediately comes to mind... No, I am not a fan of it. However, I love the Chanel Paris - Paris perfume. It is indifferent patchouli and roses - like a breath of a Parisian café on a carefree morning, as Olivier Polge described. The roses are not rich and demanding, and the patchouli is not harsh - they flirt as if they just met in that café and exchange positive glances and admiration. The perfumer spoke of the morning, but this is not how I feel when I smell these woody roses: it is a light perfume, but the roses themselves are dark. Not a dark, heavy luxury, but dark and flowing like smoke. The roses are crimson red, woody, and a little spicy. Citrus attracts them in the opening for a beautiful shape and a stimulating dry edge, well preserved through the perfume’s evolution - to keep the roses as roses. I appreciate the timing of this release, after honoring five other places, Paris - Paris seems like an elegant complement to a perfume journey. Most likely, this is not the end, but for now, Les Eaux De Chanel perfumes seem like a wonderful story. Chanel gently dedicated the roses to Paris, wrapped them in a classic agreement, but tied the knot loosely, allowing some casualness, and it felt wonderful, like lipstick with a simple dress, like life and romance in the old Parisian streets.
