The dream of the other

The novel deepens in the feeling of dissociation and the fading of identity amidst the pressures of daily life, exploring the impact of reality and dreams on the self. An intriguing narrative language carries a philosophical tone, conveyed through two characters with contradictory traits, and with each twist, the boundaries between what is real and illusion become more blurred. The reader is tested on how identity can change between who we are and who we think we are, and the novel hints that the greatest secrets of the soul are the secrets we hide from ourselves. The ending leaves a mysterious impression on the mind, and prompts long-term questions about the self and truth. Number of pages: 272
