Product description

This novel illuminates a segment of Palestinian life in the 1980s, during the Intifada of the Stones, and features the "Hara" with its stories and its people as the main characters, where the boys have their mischievous and hesitant presence in the face of forbidden questions of life.. One day, two boys from Jenin neighborhoods agreed to place a bag with a damaged radio device along the route of the occupation army patrols, and to extend a wire from it to the side of the street, so it would look like a suspicious body capable of confusing the soldiers and frightening them; "That's how we play with them," said Ziyad, for in that neighborhood, children play many group games, like football, "Taba," and "Seven Stones," but their favorite game has always been playing with the occupation soldiers. This novel is about play as a patriotic act, and a form of resistance, even if it did not seem so at the time. Number of pages: 110 pages
