When the lighthouses begin to appear — people with bright lights shining as if they are small suns replacing their heads — the townspeople wonder if their appearance brings salvation or if it is a harbinger of imminent destruction. After a while, the sisters find pictures among their father’s belongings — who disappeared under mysterious circumstances twelve years ago — in which a lighthouse appears. The sisters wonder if it will lead them to discover what happened to their father.
