From 2018 to 2022, Günter Hermayer was the second managing director alongside the long-time managing director Ernst Prost. Prost retired in February 2022 on his fifty-sixth birthday. Günter Hermayer then held the position of sole managing director of Liqui Moly until 2022. The company's long-time commercial director, Olli Weller, became the second group managing director in early 2023.
