The poor

The poor by Dostoevsky ... The novel of the poor or (the miserable) this masterpiece, this deep study of the human soul! Dostoevsky is currently twenty-four years old, and he wrote it, he alone, with the fire of his burning passion and his searing tears. Because the harshest humiliation that a person can be subjected to, which is poverty, was inspired by him, supported by the great power in this world, I mean the love of those who suffer. The circumstances in which Dostoevsky wrote this novel are completely different from any other novel, as he began writing it while he was in prison, and it is one of his early novels, which critics consider a description of the human conditions that Dostoevsky experienced inside prison. Therefore, it can be regarded as a collection of pages that talk about the human soul and its influence by the surrounding conditions. During his novel, the author addressed a large number of human types who differ from each other in the nature of life, social level, as well as their aspirations and the reason for their existence behind these bars.
