The road to Los Angeles

The road to Los Angeles will surprise you. This is what good novels should do. Blending fantasy with reality, and this is true, because reality is half of the fantasy anyway. This is a complex book, even though its style is not, and it deserves to be read again and again. It raises more questions each time. It is difficult, comfortable, funny, and sad. It will make you angry and happy. And more than anything, it is an honest book, and this is rare, even more rare these days. The characters are not perfect and there are no heroes. Two years of the writer's life, The road to Los Angeles, a lost classic, was found now and republished, the joy is fitting today as it was when it was first written.
