Two

Marian, the daughter of a famous painter, had only one desire: to enjoy. Her life was a continuous series of parties and social outings. Here comes Antoine, that charming and unpredictable young man, who succeeds in seducing Marian. She feels love for him; while he does not feel the same way towards her, whatever it was... he will end up marrying her, and later betray her... until many tragedies bring them closer to each other. In addition to being a precise and strict analysis of emotion, love, and disappointment, the novel "Two" presents a dark picture of France, specifically of French youth; during the years between the two world wars; these crazy years that will never be repeated after the end of the Second World War.
