This booklet was Jibran's first step into the world of writing, and he was still in his early twenties. And despite its title, this booklet does not increase your knowledge of music as an art in itself and a world with its roots, dimensions, and history, but rather introduces you to Jibran's very self to show you, in a beautiful poetic style, how music transforms in the sensitive poetic soul from a prisoner in the body to a winged being in space, and from a captive in the world of time to a free being in the realm of the absolute. Jibran later surpassed, immeasurably, this booklet of his, but that was like a river surpassing a waterwheel; in length, width, depth, pushing power, and roar, among other things, all of which remain one in essence because both the river and the waterwheel are flowing water.
