The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien

The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien ... "I wish I could go back to my Hobbit-hole beside my warm fireplace and lit lamp!". He often also wished he could send a message to the wizard asking for help, but of course that was completely impossible, and he quickly realized that if anything was to be done, it must be done by Mr. Baggins alone, without help from anyone. Tolkien is considered the father of modern fantasy, as worlds of imagination changed after the publication of The Hobbit, then The Lord of the Rings trilogy to open the door to new worlds, for which the greats of this genre acknowledge their gratitude. When he told his children the adventures of this small, confused Hobbit who embarks on an adventure far from his safe home, he created a work that combines the joy of stories, the wonder of myths, and the hardship of building a new literary world.
