The man who crucified Christ

The body disappeared, thus he proclaimed, since two thousand years ago, one of the soldiers of the Roman Pilate's battalion after Jesus of Nazareth was captured on the Mount of Olives on the outskirts of Jerusalem and was taken for trial and death. Did Jesus know he was the Messiah from the beginning? Did he discover his prophecy after abandoning his workshop and his wood? Did he ever dream of death chained to a cross prepared by a carpenter for another carpenter?
