In it, Ibn Al-Abar translated the companions of the Judge Abu Ali Al-Sadfi, and the total number of biographies is (315). He made it like an appendix to the book of the Judge Al-Yazid, in which he translated the sheikhs of Abu Ali Al-Sadfi, and arranged it alphabetically, starting with the name Ahmed in consideration of the honor of the name. His approach in it is to mention the full name of the translator, his nickname, his origin, and the country where he was born, as well as the places he moved to, then he mentions his teachers and students, and concludes the biography with the date and place of death. In all of this, he relies on brevity and does not mention detailed side information, as if he is creating a general data record for the companions of Abu Ali.
