The fragrance is one of the Maison's most important historical signatures. 1A-33 was already a major Schwarzlose bestseller from the 1950s onward, and its modern interpretation preserves the floral-fresh identity while connecting it directly to Berlin through linden blossom and the atmosphere of Unter den Linden.

The name itself reflects Berlin heritage: 1A was associated with the city's former registration plate, while 33 refers to the Maison's location in Moabit. The modern fragrance was launched in 2012 and created by perfumer Véronique Nyberg.
