It is designed for thumb injuries and to help relieve carpal tunnel syndrome by providing maximum wrist support with control of radial and ulnar deviation. The pre-cut splint contains thermoplastic materials and has perforated holes in the proximal part of the splint or forearm area that allow air to reach the skin for added comfort and relief. The area surrounding the wrist is a solid material that helps maintain strength where it is most needed to assist in immobilizing the wrist and hand.
