A brief history of humanity

A Brief History of Humanity Author: William Burroughs Translator: Shaker Hassan Radi The history of humanity is characterized by revolutions in agriculture, industry, human studies, politics, and science. Nations have united in conflicts against totalitarian regimes, injustice, and climate change up to the present time. And here we are, part of a global network of searching minds, sharing feelings and ideas through the Internet, just as our ancestors did by crossing national borders. History is not fixed at all. It is constantly being updated thanks to new sciences and discoveries, such as fossils that push back the timeline of human emergence to an earlier era. Now, it has become possible to analyze DNA, which recently developed, to distinguish the source of pollen found beside the bones of hominids. Even the term "hominids" is a modern choice to differentiate early humans and modern humans from our relatives, the apes. The transformation and course of "human" evolution continues from Africa.
