Description:

Fusibact dosage and methods of use

• The steps for using topical fusidic acid include the following:

Apply a thin layer of cream or ointment to the affected area.

Massage gently until you are sure that the skin has absorbed most of the medicine.

Repeat use 3-4 times daily (as directed by the doctor).

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medicine, unless your hand is infected.

• Treatment with fusidic acid usually lasts for a week, and it is not recommended to use it for more than 10 consecutive days without consulting a doctor.
• Avoid applying fusidic acid cream or ointment near the eyes, and wash your eyes thoroughly with cold water if the medicine gets into your eyes.
• Use the medication only on the affected area.

If you forget a dose of the medicine, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for the next dose; in which case you should skip the dose you forgot.
