Preparation of innovative educational materials for the Arabic language

About the program: This program is about preparing innovative educational materials for the Arabic language (definition - types - characteristics - objectives - positives - negatives .. etc). It will be presented through the following units: First training unit: Fundamentals of designing educational materials for the Arabic language Second training unit: Producing innovative activities and media Third training unit: Developing content and evaluating it through applied projects Program objectives: - To enable the trainee to understand the principles of designing educational materials and their types, and analyze learners' needs according to their language levels. - To equip the trainee with skills to prepare innovative educational activities, and produce suitable paper and digital media for teaching Arabic language skills. - To master the evaluation and development of educational materials based on feedback, and participate in implementing an integrated applied project. Program themes: First training unit: (Fundamentals of designing educational materials for the Arabic language): - Introduction to designing educational materials • Concept of educational material and its types (printed – digital – interactive). • The difference between "content" and "medium" and "activities". • Standards of effective educational material in teaching Arabic. - Analyzing learners' needs and their language levels • Classifying language levels (beginner – intermediate – advanced). • How to identify learners' linguistic and cultural needs. • Linking the learner’s level with the type of educational material required. Second training unit: (Producing innovative activities and media): - Designing interactive and stimulating educational activities • Problem-solving activities and language games. • Cooperative learning and small projects. • Methods to enhance linguistic interaction within the lesson. - Producing worksheets, cards, and educational posters • Standards for designing a good worksheet. • How to produce visually stimulating media linguistically. • Using drawings, tables, and diagrams. Third training unit: (Developing content and evaluating it through applied projects): - Designing comic stories and enriching texts • Steps to write an educational story aimed at a specific language skill. • Integrating values and language into narrative content. • Using drawings and images to support understanding. - Evaluating and developing educational materials • Evaluation criteria (clarity, suitability, diversity). • Evaluation tools: checklists, observation cards, learners’ opinions. • Mechanism for modifying materials based on feedback.
