Product description

The intention of this book mainly focuses on the psychological aspects rather than the educational aspects in developing children's behavior. It is clear that any assessment of the educational value of the adopted method must ultimately rely on the validity of the psychological basis. By thinking of it as a reflection of their minds and observing it closer to the level of instinct and spontaneous interests than what is usually possible. The actual work with children was of course educational; but the records themselves are direct and neutral observations, recorded as completely as possible under the circumstances; and freed from evaluations and interpretations as much as possible; where it was sometimes suggested that a psychologist among children should imagine his work as an anthropologist among a primitive people; observing, but not interfering in the lives he observes.
