Beauty in the time of ugliness - Malak Nasr

Is the crisis of beauty in the body, soul, and spirit... has a solution? And the unconditional acceptance of our bodies... and ourselves... with our weaknesses... and our darkness... for the sake of change?! And why this dangerous role of beauty in the matter of acceptance... and a person's appreciation of themselves... and their "body image"... and the success of their social, emotional, and marital relationships... even the success of their work relationships?! Is the solution in beauty salons... and on social media? Or in beauty that comes from psychological clinics? There is hope... in true beauty... and an escape from psychological ugliness... and a path to inner beauty... and a lasting light for the beauty of the spirit! There is hope... in psychological acceptance from ourselves to ourselves... and spiritual acceptance from the Creator of the spirit... Yes... there is a new strength... for the weak... and the socially marginalized because of appearance, gender, or sexual orientation, or class... or those suffering from social "stigma" due to mental illness... or those suffering from "spiritual stigma" because of their sins or morals! There is beauty waiting for us... after all the ugliness that has affected our thoughts about ourselves... there is an open door to inner beauty! It is a journey toward true beauty... from the crisis of "new look" in the face and body... to the solution of "new look of the soul" with its feelings, thoughts, and actions... and reaching the "new look of the spirit"! And the change from a "mercy monologue"... to a "dialogue of empathy" or "dialogue of mercy"!
