We always wait for someone.. we think that with their presence all our pains will disappear and peace will flood us, and we imagine that at that moment we will feel complete! And the truth hits us that that person whom we saw as the savior.. perhaps is the one who gives us our greatest disappointment.. and instead of shining beside them.. we may wither.. and withdraw.. and fade away.. and melt! The other becomes our hell when we seek to numb our pains through them, and the toxic relationship becomes a distraction from facing ourselves, just an escape and fleeing! To those who think they heal the thirst.. by chasing the mirage!
