The story of humanity - Hendrik van Loon

It is a historic journey that no one’s heart can imagine! We see the primitive human wandering the forests in search of food, drink, and shelter, then we move to watch the first civilizations in Egypt, Phoenicia, and Mesopotamia, and cross the sea to tour the Greek civilization that lasted for centuries, and witness the rise and fall of the Great Roman Empire, then visit Europe in the Middle Ages where powerful fighting families existed, ending with the Renaissance era when humans reached the peak of progress and development, to record in luminous letters the most important chapters of their story that has been ongoing for millions of years.. the story of humanity. The first book that won the prestigious “Neubery” medal in the United States of America in 1922 for its concise and exciting narration of the greatest story that can be told one day.
