Why it's Great: The 3000 Micro R|Evolution embodies the philosophy that a subwoofer shouldn't just be heard, it should be felt and lived. Culminating over 20 years of SVS acoustic breakthroughs, this ultra-compact subwoofer delivers an experience that easily surpasses much larger models while maintaining a level of refinement fit for the most discerning listeners.

At its core, the force-balanced dual opposing 9-inch drivers operate in perfect unison, firing in opposite directions. This flagship engineering cancels out mechanical forces, creating a sonically inert cabinet and completely eliminating unwanted cabinet vibration—one of the biggest limitations of compact subwoofers. What you hear is pure, undistorted low-frequency output with pinpoint transient speed. Driven by discrete high-current MOSFETs and backed by a performance-enhancing Switch Mode Power Supply, it delivers massive, room-filling sound pressure levels with absolute accuracy.

The Brains Behind the Brawn: Orchestrating this ecosystem is the most sophisticated DSP ever deployed in a home subwoofer. It painstakingly shapes the in-room frequency response to maximize the potential of room boundaries, producing deeper bass extension without distortion or boominess. Through the SVS smartphone app, you gain seamless control over volume, parametric EQs, and phase from your seat. It allows you to save three custom memory presets for music, movies, or night listening, and utilizes SVS Auto Room EQ to optimize the subwoofer's performance perfectly to your room's unique environment.
