Men of Marj Dabiq

Men of Marj Dabiq by Salah Eissa ... "None of the men who filled the space of Marj Dabiq on that hot summer night knew exactly how things would end. All they knew was that war had become inevitable, and it could erupt at any moment, and their stay in this vast marsh would not last. As for how luck would be distributed among them: who among them would be taken prisoner? And who would fall as a martyr in the battle? And would the army led by their Sultan, King Al-Ashraf Abu al-Nasr Qansuh al-Ghuri, win, or would the army of their enemy, Sultan al-Muzafir Sulaiman Khan bin Bayezid the Ottoman, triumph? None of them knew anything about all of that." Author: Salah Eissa Pages: 246 Dar Al-Karmah for Publishing and Distribution
