Issued for the poet and novelist "Ibrahim Nasser Allah" a novel "Balcony of Delirium", (which he inaugurated with his novel project: (Balconies) which includes a number of novels, each with its independence, alongside his major novel project "The Palestinian Tragedy"). In a special style, with veiled satire, and brief expressions of multiple images of life, and with rare boldness to break the established and traditional modern novel form. And with expressive images like flashes that come and then disappear, with unique rituals outside the norm in their sharpness and carefully considered shape, the poet "Ibrahim Nasser Allah" in this novel work addresses the bitter alienation that has occupied a vast space in the Arab soul since the First Gulf War, passing through the harsh shadows of what has become of the Palestinian situation, and reaching the post-September 11 and Iraq occupation stages. It is balconies through which our writer looks at the reality of the situation experienced by the protagonist "Rashid Al-Nimr" and his family. They are stations representing images of the life of the Arab person searching for his identity, his freedom, and his security, but he cannot find them. An era full of conflicts, wars, and poverty to the extent that he looks in the mirror and finds another image of himself. The protagonist says: "I want to contemplate myself in a mirror that does not reflect my image!! Isn't that difficult, and what is the difficulty in that? It means you will be where you were, without eyelids, with dreams that remind you of the day, and without a path, and above all, alone, with this blind mirror!!" His dead friend asked him: "And why do you keep me company?!" Because I cannot see myself in you! And why can't you see yourself in me?! Because you have no eyes! Do you understand my point, right?" "Balcony of Delirium" is a new form in modern novel literature through which "Ibrahim Nasser Allah" broke the concept of character building through lack of personality, and broke art with art so that there is space in this (epic absurdity) we live in, through which a new reality can be addressed that can no longer be confronted except by going to the maximum boundary area.
