Muhammad Hussein Heikal (1888 - 1956); Egyptian lawyer, historian, politician, and writer. He studied law and obtained a doctorate from the University of Sorbonne. After returning to Egypt, he worked in law and journalism, and was a member of the Thirty Committee that drafted the 1923 Constitution. He also served as Minister of Education and Minister of Social Affairs.
