A story of the past and present together, within the project "The Palestinian Tragedy," different, on both the artistic and semantic levels, where the Palestinian is not content with just dialogue about his issues here, but contemplates them while also contemplating the issues of the world and the meaning of human existence, through a text that overflows beyond borders, about a long-standing issue, revisited in a surprising love story. Everything is different here, in this space extending between 1936 and 2021, with intersecting events taking place in geographically distant locations, fundamentally interconnected, from Palestine to Britain, to the Arab world, and characters pursued by the past that hides them, and others insisting on being more transparent after every erasure, resisting erasure, along with horses living what humans live, and resisting instinctively and with the logic of their freedom against cages and traps. Three times and three places, and three paths, with the "Omniscient Narrator" whom we see here as one of the most prominent characters in this novel, with all his anxiety, obsessions, dreams, strength, weakness, doubt, and certainty, as if he were a conductor, embodied as never before, as a being consumed by questions of eternity, mortality, love, and death, retracing the paths of humans gathered on earth, to be an extended character in the "Triad of the Omniscient Narrator"; "The Traps of the Winds" is one of them, each with different themes, times, and places, and each independent of the others, through a history extending from the beginnings of humanity to tomorrow! United in the tangible existence of the Omniscient Narrator, far from his traditional invisibility. It is the novel of this narrator, and the novel of horses and women who play the most prominent roles, and the novel of Palestine as a deep part of the questions of the world.
