The novel is about two main characters, the first of whom is "Maria," a young woman suffering from a mental illness that pulls her into seeing abnormal nightmares at a rate exceeding that of a normal person, causing these nightmares to turn her life upside down! Maria tries to control her nightmares, especially the ones that repeat over and over, and despite going to all doctors, therapists, and others, she finds no solutions or treatment anywhere! Therefore, her mother suggests trying art therapy. Maria applies this therapy meticulously and begins to paint her nightmares on canvases. Indeed, the nightmares stop repeating, but they do not stop appearing in her mind. Maria continues to paint her nightmares on canvases for years and becomes a very famous artist, selling her paintings to many people at high prices! Until the day comes that radically changes Maria's life, when the nightmares escape from the paintings into reality, and the nightmares begin involving serial murders, with everything in the painting perfectly matching the victim, turning the painting into a real nightmare! Maria tries to control her wild nightmares with no success before she loses her mind and before she is accused of a series of murders because she is the artist of the nightmare paintings! What happens to her? How will she escape the nightmares in her dreams and in reality? How will she survive the monsters that escaped from her paintings?! Maria, who cannot even remember her childhood or who her father is, becomes trapped between nightmares and a series of ongoing crimes...!
