"Dermaforia" means a state of euphoria from excitement for human skin. Here we meet Eric Ashworth, the almost crazy genius chemist, who cannot be missed in the drug market because he invented a remarkable drug called "Skin" or "Touch." The story begins with this chemist, who is amnesic after a fire that destroyed his laboratory, and it seems he lost his chemical information as a result, but no one believes this, or dares to believe it. The police surround him with their questions, the lawyer advises him to stay silent, and drug dealers pursue him. But he has one flicker from his old world—a girl named "Desiree."
