Dublin by Julie Murphy ... Under the starry Texas sky, accompanied by red lollipop candies, and Dolly Parton songs, I bet you will fall in love with "Dublin". Wiloden Dixon, the chubby girl who always leans towards solitude, announces herself. Her mother, a former beauty queen, nicknamed her "Dublin: Zlabia". Are her thoughts revolving around having the perfect body for a swimsuit? Yes, and so she decided to wear a swimsuit. Everything was always going smoothly, with the help of Eileen, her close friend with stunning American beauty... until Wil received a job at Harbies, the fast-food restaurant. There she met the handsome private school student Boo Larson, the former athlete. Don't be surprised if Wil feels admiration for Boo, but she is truly surprised when he reciprocates those feelings. Besides finding new ways to feel confident during her relationship with Boo, more doubts begin to stir in Wil's heart. So she decides to regain her self-confidence when she takes the most terrifying step in her view: participating in the Bluebonnet Teen Queen contest – alongside some unexpected contestants as well – showing the world that she deserves to participate in something like this just like any other girl. During her journey in the contest, she will cause fear and surprise in the hearts of the residents of Clover City, and perhaps she will first cause fear in herself among everyone.
