The cage

In an exciting and complex plot, the third crime series is concluded. In the world of drugs, smuggling, and political corruption in Iceland, the events revolve around "Aglá," a former executive director at a high-level bank, who tries to commit suicide to escape her sentence in prison for financial misconduct instead of considering other alternatives available to her after becoming eligible for parole. Her failed suicide attempt leads her to be transferred to the high-security wing of the prison. Until she receives a surprise visit from representatives of a beverage factory who make her an offer that makes her reconsider life again. Then "Aglá" is forced to join her former greatest enemy, journalist "Maria," to face even greater dangers that were not expected.
