From dust to water

Sama, the Syrian girl, experiences the harsh transition between several types of soil: starting from the soil of the burning war in her village, passing through the soil of asylum in a Syrian displaced persons camp in Lebanon, and reaching the soil of two consecutive marriages while she is in adolescence. Amid these fluctuations and despite all the restrictions, Sama sews her dream in a new land. Through one step, from soil to water, Sama hopes with her beloved Basil that their destinies will change. Will water be a salvation from the soil? Authored by: Zahraa Abdullah
