Product description

Based on a personal experience lived by the author (Jasmine Lee Cori) of neglect by the mother emotionally in childhood, she composed this book after many years in the field of psychotherapy where she treated dozens of cases and disorders resulting from the emotional absence of the mother in childhood. In the past, reformers warned of the great importance of the mother's role in the family and society, and warned against any tampering or disruption to this sacred role of women. People often viewed those warnings as exaggerated, but with this book, we will realize that they were never exaggerated. Starting from the mother's smile to her infant, passing through holding and containing him, rushing to meet his needs and responding to his crying or hunger, as well as telling her child that she loves him, or that he is beautiful, or why he is sad. All these (innate) roles that come from a (healthy) mother are what give a person his psychological balance, self-confidence, a sense of importance and entitlement, and that he is wanted and has the right to demand his emotional and material needs. Through them, he learns the meanings of emotionality and feelings reflected in his mother's mirror, thus avoiding emotional numbness.
