Key shadows

The first novel from the trilogy of the Bells, which is a trilogy by the author Ibrahim Nasserallah. In the novel (Shadows of the Keys), the Palestinian appears as a legendary image for his memory, just as his memory appears as a legendary image for the meaning of his existence. A novel passing through many times and major transformations that Palestine witnessed and lived by the characters of this work, in the extensions of the utmost boundaries of the idea of existence, dispersion, and identification with a homeland forcibly taken. It is also about the distance between the humanity of the rightful owner and the arrogance of the one who denies this right, which is embodied here through an exceptional confrontation between a Palestinian woman and a Zionist officer. This relatively short novel proves that epics do not always need many pages to deserve their name, as in (Shadows of the Keys), another epic emerges, strong, influential, and stormy due to the intense conflict Palestine experienced and still lives in facing its occupiers.
