Product description

The Gospels tell a story about Lord Jesus Christ when he felt hungry after leaving Bethany, then he looked at a fig tree from afar and it had dense leaves, so he went to it but he did not find anything to eat. They told him that it was not the time for figs, but he cursed it saying no one shall eat fruit from you again. The cursed fig tree withered forever. And apart from the debate that took place around this story in Christian tradition and the many commentators on it and the rush of those seeking to answer the motives of Lord Jesus Christ for cursing the tree, the time of the fig has become a term that in its symbolism and meaning indicates our desire that precedes its known time, so we blame things that are delayed as if the fault is theirs when they did not ripen during our longing for them.
