Death bed number 12 Gassan Kanafani

Number of pages: 211. Author: Ghassan Kanafani. Publishing house: Tanween Publishing and Distribution. Year of publication: 2022. It has become customary for a writer's first production to obtain a "passport" for the reader... A word from a famous pen tops the book... or brief sentences on the back cover, or a wide promotional campaign in which the writer, the publisher, and friends of both parties participate, telling how stories were created, how they were shed by the wounded pen, and how... and how... I believe that the book should introduce itself, and if it fails to achieve part of its author's ambitions, then the writer should simply accept that, just as — time and again — he tore stories to rewrite them... or wrote others instead... and so "Death of Bed Number 12," I push it to carve its way, if it can find its way at the beginning, on its own, without "intercession" and without "mediation" and without a "passport."
