Meredith alone

Meredith Maggs has not left her house for a thousand and seven hundred and fourteen days, yet she insists she is not alone... she has her cat Fred, her friend Sadi who visits her whenever she can, as well as the delivery person from the company and the online support group, Tesco. She spends her time practicing her hobby of assembling puzzle pieces, preparing delicious recipes, reading her favorite author Emily Dickinson, browsing the internet, and recalling painful memories of those who were in her past. But change is about to happen. First, the new friends Tom and Céleste appear in her life, then her sister, who had cut ties with her and hadn’t spoken to her for several years, suddenly reappears, and her carefully maintained secluded home no longer feels like a safe place to hide. Whether Meredith likes it or not, the world will come to her doorstep. Author: Claire Alexander Translation: Heba Ahmed Al-Akram Pages: 503 Published by Balancia Publishing
