Foresight and designing the future

Early thinking about what will come in the future has become more important than ever due to the acceleration in the pace of changes and new technological and social developments. In the past, most humans lived in close-knit communities, and followed the simplicity of life choices set by their fathers and grandfathers. But today, we have many options, as we have become able to choose any place in the world to decide to live in, and we can also learn skills and professions we want to work in, even if we have not trained for them or studied them before. Some professions will even disappear within a few years with the emergence of new technologies and innovations, accompanied by developments in communication networks and the internet.
