The days

The days are a book about days that came and went about Taha Hussein narrates it in this book to tell his life story. His childhood in his village and his hardship with his sheikh then the transition to the columns of Al-Azhar where every hope of his father was to see him a scholar sitting in one of those columns teaching his students. Taha Hussein went to Al-Azhar and in his imagination a beautiful picture of Al-Azhar that did not remain until he entered Cairo and lived and moved between the plates and columns of Al-Azhar and lived what he lived and saw what he saw.
