On a tightrope

In this book, I share with you some of the ideas and reflections that arose in my mind at different stages of my life, as a result of an incident here or an event there, and a deed or a reaction afterward. I have tried my best to be rational and disciplined. I recalled these ideas, turned them over, and presented them in the form you see here before you. But I must clarify from the beginning, and to be honest with myself before being honest with you. I do not claim, not for a moment, that I have brought something extraordinary in this book, nor do I possess anything that you do not have that would place me in the position of a teacher or a wise knowledgeable person. None of that at all. All I ask is that I am like you, and I have had the opportunity to share with you my thoughts and reflections that stemmed from real experiences from which I learned a lot, undoubtedly. Hoping that the lamps of ideas will illuminate your minds as they did mine, and that they ignite some positive feelings in your hearts, which may lead you toward paths of success, happiness, and satisfaction.
