Thirst for love

This novel tells the story of a rural Japanese community, where we follow, with eagerness and anticipation, the daily life of a family with its Lord and members and heroes: Yakishi, the father enjoying the rights of authority, and Weitsuko, the young beautiful woman eager for a moment of love, and her husband who prefers his lovers, and her lover, on one side, the handsome servant Saburo, and her beautiful maid lover Mio. And the most important thing in this novel are two rising lines: one reminds us of the epic and dramatic Greek tragedy, as the drama in this novel threatens us, and at every moment of its development, with the tragic ending of the beautiful girl Isuko's love, and another line in which the fates of the novel's heroes open calmly and confidently, as if through a magical lens.
