Academic reflections on six Saudi novels

The summer of 2023 was different from the previous ones and was strange to me. It was not the best nor the worst. It was different not because it came after three academic semesters for the first and last time at my university, but because I read in it those six novels. It was strange because I wrote in it this book. What is in this book are just reflections and not a linguistic analysis with a clear methodology. Also, the reflections in this book do not cover every small detail in those novels, but are only reflections from one reader... a single individual... who is different from millions of other people in everything! Someone whom Allah has granted these novels so that he remembers and knows that Allah is the truth, and that despite human problems, there are solutions in the Book of Allah, from which I will quote a verse I find appropriate at the beginning of each part of each novel. And as I write during that short summer vacation, I see in front of me the book (Academic Reflections on Six Saudi Novels) printed, published, read, and commented on positively and negatively by readers and critics. I do not care who criticizes negatively; they have the freedom to do so. That is natural, as it appeared to me from the six novels I reflected upon, and perhaps someone’s comment or critique will shed light on a dark part of the book, benefiting me and the readers greatly... We are different, and our difference is the secret of our strength, but our differences should not lead to extremism or baseless attacks. Attacks just for the sake of attacking or simply because the one who said or wrote the words does not resemble me or does not please me!
