The blood of the early kings

In an empire ruled by black magic, the dead mages become a source of life. Their bodies are wrapped in chains and their magic is drained to satisfy the empire's insatiable hunger for invasion and expansion. "Arian" was born with magic in her veins, and she surrendered to her dark destiny. But when the voice of a dead wizard from long ago begins to speak in her head, she listens carefully. There may be another future waiting for her… if she is ready to fight for it. In a distant place, beneath an erupting volcano, the empire's chain hangs around the neck of a seven-eyed dragon. It was once the sacred protector of its people, before the empire's grip seized the land. "Loran," a bereaved warrior, is the first to face the dragon in decades. She came with desperate hope, and will leave with a sword made from the dragon's fang in her hand, and a great purpose ahead. The blood of the early kings is an innovative and exciting fantasy work, fast-paced and full of twists. Author: Song E. Kim Publisher: Dar Al Khan for Publishing and Distribution Number of pages: 447
