This package makes earning the Platinum trophy easier for this legendary game. It is available for PS4 and PS5; choose the version you need.

Your order includes:

All weapons available from the beginning of the game, with unlimited use.

All equipment available from the very beginning, including the secret items: the Bandana for unlimited ammunition, Stealth Camouflage and Level 7 Key Card. Follow the intended sequence of events.

You will need to install the free Japanese Language Pack to earn most of the trophies covered in this guide.

All save files have been tested. Following this guide in order lets you progress from 0% to 100% with a natural-looking trophy sequence.

Menu shortcut: Press L1 + R1 at any time to open the menu. You can return to the Load screen or quickly switch between game editions from there.

Trophy names are shown in green below. Red headings identify the game edition you need to launch.

Make sure you launch the correct edition. All editions are included, but you must switch between them correctly to meet each trophy’s requirements.

Read all the pages in the Screenplay Book

From the main menu, select Screenplay Book. The trophy unlocks as soon as you open it; you do not need to read each page manually.

Metal Gear Solid: INTEGRAL

Launch Metal Gear Solid: INTEGRAL for the first-play and boss trophies.

[2] Commencing Mission

Begin a new game

This step is essential for a natural trophy order before the boss trophies. Start New Game and wait for the trophy to unlock. Then restart the game or return to the menu with L1 + R1.

Select Load Game and use the following save files. Each starts near a boss encounter on Very Easy difficulty, with plenty of ammunition and Rations to make the battles manageable.

[3] vs. Revolver Ocelot

Defeat Revolver Ocelot

Load Armory Sth, complete the encounter and defeat Revolver Ocelot.

(2) Canyon

[4] vs. M1 Tank

Defeat the M1 Tank

Load Canyon and destroy the M1 Tank.

(3) Lab

[5] vs. Ninja

Defeat Ninja

Load Lab and defeat Ninja.

(4) Cmndar rom

[6] vs. Psycho Mantis

Defeat Psycho Mantis

Load Cmndar rom and defeat Psycho Mantis.

(5) U.Gmd Pssge

[7] vs. Sniper Wolf

Defeat Sniper Wolf

Load U.Gmd Pssge and defeat Sniper Wolf in the first encounter.

(6) Roof/Comm Twr

[8] vs. Hind D

Defeat Hind D

Load Roof/Comm Twr and destroy Hind D.

(7) Snowfield

[9] vs. Sniper Wolf (Rematch)

Prevail in the rematch against Sniper Wolf

Load Snowfield and defeat Sniper Wolf in the second encounter.

Defeat Vulcan Raven

Load Warehouse and defeat Vulcan Raven.

(9) Spply Rte [pt1]

[11] vs. Metal Gear REX

Defeat Metal Gear REX

Load Spply Rte [pt1], complete the encounter and defeat Metal Gear REX.

(10) Spply Rte [pt2]

[12] vs. Liquid Snake

Defeat Liquid Snake

Load Spply Rte [pt2] and defeat Liquid Snake.

(11) Esc Route

Obtain the Bandana

Load Esc Route and finish the game. After the credits, agree to save when prompted. Creating this final save unlocks the Bandana trophy.

Do not exit the game before saving after the credits.

[14] Ghostly Encounter

Exorcise a ghost photo

Open Special → Album → Storage 1 → PHOTO 01.

Select EXORCISE and keep pressing Circle until the trophy unlocks.

Metal Gear Solid: STANDARD EDITION

Launch Metal Gear Solid: STANDARD EDITION and choose Japanese Language Selection. This section requires the Japanese Language Pack.

[15] Elite

Obtain the Fox or Big Boss codename

[16] Dress For the Job

Obtain the stealth camo

The Japanese edition contains just one save file. Load it and complete the final section of the game. You may use only one Ration during this section.

After finishing the game, wait for the credits to end and create a new save when prompted. Completing these steps correctly unlocks both Elite and Dress For the Job.

Using more than one Ration may affect the rank required for the Fox or Big Boss codename, so use it only if necessary.

Metal Gear Solid: SPECIAL MISSIONS

Launch Metal Gear Solid: SPECIAL MISSIONS and choose English [UK] Language Selection. This edition is used for the VR Missions trophies.

[17] Git Gud

Complete a VR training mission

Open No Weapon → Practice → Level 01.

Complete this first mission to unlock the trophy.

[18] Practice Makes Perfect

Complete all VR training missions

Open the final mission in Special Mode: Ninja 03.

Find and kill Snake without being detected. Snake is easy to identify: he is the only guard without a mask.

Press L1 to use Stealth, but avoid relying on it for too long because it drains HP.

After killing Snake, head to the exit on the north side and leave the area. Completing the mission unlocks Practice Makes Perfect.
