Sapofen Tablets 400 mg 30 Tablets

Sapofen coated tablets contain 400 mg of ibuprofen; pack of 30. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pain reliever that reduces pain, inflammation and fever.

Indications

• Mild to moderate pain: rheumatic, muscle, back and nerve pain, headache, migraine, toothache and period pain.
• Fever and cold and flu symptoms.

How to Use

• Follow the patient leaflet or the pharmacist's instructions.
• Do not use in children under 12.
• For short-term use. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve after 10 days.

Do Not Use In The Following Cases

• Allergy to ibuprofen, aspirin or similar pain relievers, or asthma, rash or swelling after taking them.
• A current stomach ulcer or bleeding, or two or more previous episodes.
• Liver, kidney or heart disease, or high blood pressure.
• Taking other similar pain relievers, or more than 75 mg of aspirin daily.
• The last three months of pregnancy.

Warnings & Precautions

• Consult your doctor for asthma, diabetes or inflammatory bowel disease, and if over 65.
• May slightly increase heart-attack or stroke risk, particularly at high doses.
• Tell your doctor if taking blood thinners, blood-pressure medicines or lithium.
• Avoid during pregnancy. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use while breastfeeding.

Common Side Effects

• May occasionally (uncommonly) cause headache, indigestion, nausea, abdominal pain or rash.
• Stop and seek help immediately for black stools, vomiting blood, difficulty breathing, facial swelling, or a rash with peeling or blisters.

Storage

Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
