Product description
The crisis of contemporary psychology by George Boltzir ... and it is true once again that psychology that does not rise to the meanings cannot reach the human, and therefore it is not true psychology, and it is also true that we have not delved much into human psychology with objective meanings, and it is ultimately true that the spirit (soul) should be excluded from the list of topics that psychology should investigate, and it is correct — above all — that this applies to the feeling itself and to inner life in general. About the book: the importance of this book is due to it being a theoretical addition that no psychologist can ignore, but — unfortunately — it is not mentioned in American and British psychology books; and that is because of the hatred of American psychologists for perspectives based on dialectical materialist philosophy; for reasons not hidden from the reader’s insight. And psychologists in the Arab countries have relied on direct transfer from English and American sources, so much so that it can be said that what exists of psychology in the Arab countries is "Western psychology," meaning: psychology that deals with the behavior, beliefs, and problems of Western societies and Western people, which does not apply to us; we, the sons of the Arab homeland, unless there is what is called human or psychological nature that is one for all humans, and this is an unproven assumption; most personality theorists consider that man is a product of his environment, and that the element of culture and upbringing has the greatest influence on shaping human psyche and mind.
