The miserable in the ages of Islam
Mahmoud Kamel Faridi
Always shows us the bright face of the stories of the great and famous people, and people circulate their anecdotes and stories, following their example, or in pursuit of reaching their status. However, these stories have another face, and another narration that has only been told hastily or shyly. Tales of misery distinguish each era, and throughout history, stories have come to us about some who were afflicted with misery until death. In this book, the author briefly reviews some of these stories. Surprisingly, some of these miserable people were geniuses of their time in a craft or science; some were deeply learned jurists like "Ibn Hazm al-Andalusi," or outstanding writers like "Ibn al-Muqaffa." Their talents were a source of envy for others; they were slandered to the rulers, or persecuted by those in authority.
